OCT -20 -1994 10:58 FROM SWEENEY BORER & OSTROW TO LITTLE CANADA P.03/83 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 601 <br />OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />BY PROHIBITING THE USE OF RADIOS AND <br />OTHER SOUND DEVICES IN MOTOR VEHICLES <br />IN A MANNER WHICH DISTURBS THE PEACE <br />The City Council of the City of Little Canada ordains: <br />Section 1. <br />Section 601.050 (x) of the Municipal Code of the City of <br />Little Canada is hereby added to read as follows: <br />(X) All use of any radio, tape player, compact disc player, <br />paging system or any other device for the production or <br />reproduction of sound in a motor vehicle in a loud <br />manner so as to unreasonably disturb the peace, quiet <br />or comfort of any person. It shall be prima facie <br />evidence of a violation of this section if the device <br />is audible from a distance of twenty -five (25) feet or <br />more. <br />Section 2. <br />This Ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after <br />its passage and publication. <br />Passed by the City Council of Little Canada this day <br />of , 1994. <br />ATTEST: <br />Joel R.
