Little Canada
Fire Department, Inc.
325 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, Minnesota 55117
(612) 484 -2722
December 15, 1994
Mayor Ray Hanson and City Council Members
City of Little Canada
515 East Little Canada Road
Little Canada, MN 55117
Dear Mayor Hanson and City Council Members:
As part of the process to develop a 50 year lease agreement between the
City of Little Canada and the Little Canada Volunteer Fire Department
(LCFD) for the fire station located at 325 East Little Canada Road, we have
made inventory of all personal property owned by the LCFD which is located
in the Old Fire Station at 440 East Little Canada Road.
The LCFD's Board of Directors and Membership have discussed and approved
the disbursement of all personal property as described herein:
1. All major kitchen appliances, kitchen utensils, dishes, coffee
pots, and other items relative to kitchen maintenance and use,
which were previously owned by the LCFD will be donated to the
Little Canada Recreation Association (LCRA). It is understood
that on- premise use of these items will be for the LCRA, Little
Canada Historical Society, 55+ Club, and any other group or
organization that is allowed by proper authority to use the
kitchen area of the building. Any other use, including off -
premise use, will be at the discretion of, and coordinated
through the LCRA.
2. The antique cash register will be retained by the LCFD with
future considerations given to transfer it to the Little Canada
Historical Society for possible display.
3. Ownership of tables and chairs will be retained by the LCFD.
They will be stored at the building at 440 East Little Canada
Road for use by anyone using that facility. Any off - premise use
shall be approved by the LCFD. Such use will be granted given
consideration to the normally scheduled use of the building so as
not to conflict with such use.
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your
cooperation. We wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and another very
good New Year.
Richard E. Boss III
Fire Chief
Page 180
