Little Canada City Council <br />December 7, 1994 <br />Page 2 <br />(C) Service not included in the retainer. <br />The monthly retainers do not include legal services in <br />connection with civil litigation, gross misdemeanor and <br />appellate criminal work, attendance in downtown St. Paul of <br />the morning custody arraignments, improvement projects, <br />development projects, condemnations, real estate purchases <br />and sales, emergency or special projects, routine clerical <br />matters, resolutions, investigation or negotiations. The <br />services described in this paragraph will be billed hourly <br />at $85.00 per hour for attorneys and $40.00 per hour for <br />paralegals. <br />(D) Billings. <br />The Attorneys shall bill approximately monthly in a form <br />approved by the City Administrator. <br />(E) Termination. <br />The Attorneys agree to proceed promptly with any work <br />requested by the City as provided in this Agreement. The <br />City may terminate this Agreement at any time at its option, <br />but the Attorneys shall not terminate except upon thirty <br />days' written notice to the City. <br />(F) Effective Date. <br />This Agreement shall be effective January 1, 1995, and shall <br />continue in effect until terminated by either party as <br />described above. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City and the Attorneys have made and <br />executed this Agreement this day of , 1994. <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />By: <br />By: <br />Raymond G.
