Hanson <br />Attached is correspondence from the County regarding the above - <br />described parcel which forfeited to the State for non - payment of <br />real estate taxes. This property has been designated as a <br />wetland by the Watershed, and it is our recommendation that the <br />parcel be retained by the City for wetland purposes. However, <br />first the matter should be reviewed by the Park and Recreation <br />Commission so as not to circumvent them in this process. <br />We've also asked the City Attorney to comment on what liability <br />may exist for the City should there be site contamination issues <br />existing on the site prior to the City's acceptance of the <br />property.
