Wendt, Division Manager <br />860 Government Center West <br />50 West Kellogg Boulevard <br />St. Paul, MN 55102 -1693 <br />November 3, 1994 <br />To whom it may concern: <br />Fax: 612-266-2066 <br />TTD#: 266 -2002 <br />Enclosed is a list of properties which forfeited to the State of <br />Minnesota, "Trust Exempt" on August 31, 1994, for non-payment of real <br />estate taxes. These parcels have been declared non - conservation lands by <br />Resolution No. 94 -487 of the Board of Ramsey County Commissioners, dated <br />October 25, 1994. A copy is enclosed. <br />Approval by local government of the classification and sale of tax <br />forfeited lands is required by Minnesota Statute Annotated 282.01 <br />subdivision 1. <br />"The town board of the town or the governing body of the municipality will <br />be deemed to have approved the classification or reclassification and sale <br />if the county board is not notified of the disapproval of the <br />classification or reclassification and sale within 90 days of the date the <br />request for approval was transmitted to the town board of the town or <br />governing body of the municipality. If the town board or governing body <br />desires to acquire any parcel lying in the town or municipality by <br />procedures authorized in the subdivision, it shall within 90 days of the <br />request for classification or reclassification and sale, file a written <br />application with the County Board to withhold the parcel from public sale. <br />The County Board shall then withhold the parcel from public sale for one <br />year." <br />Enclosed is a list of parcels in your city.
