Hanson <br />The Public Works Department is requesting authorization to <br />purchase a snowplow for the front end loader which was <br />purchased last year. The snowplow is in the proposed <br />General Capital Improvement budget under Public Works and <br />Park Maintenance. The purchase of this plow will allow the <br />Public Works Department to reduce the time spent plowing <br />cul -de -sacs. The plow on the loader will also allow us to <br />plow regular streets in case one of the trucks breaks down. <br />If the order for the loader is given to Ziegler Catepillar <br />prior to February 23, 1994, we are guaranteed a price of <br />$8,391 as part of our original bid when the loader was <br />purchased. <br />DBH:kpv <br />Page 148 <br />
