DRAFT - DRAFT - DRAFT <br />OFFICIAL SUMMARY PUBLICATION <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />LITTLE CANADA <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 902 DEFINITIONS, AND SECTION 917 <br />SHORELAND DISTRICT, OF THE LITTLE CANADA MUNICIPAL CODE IN THEIR <br />ENTIRETY, AND ESTABLISHING REVISED VERSIONS OF EACH SECTION. <br />THE LITTLE CANADA CITY COUNCIL DOES ORDAIN: <br />Section 1. Section 902. Definitions, of the Little Canada <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended in its entirety. Said amendment <br />adds the following terms: <br />Bluff <br />Bluff Impact Zone <br />Boathouse <br />Commercial Planned Unit <br />Commissioner <br />Deck <br />Duplex, Triplex, and Quad <br />Intensive Vegetation Clearing <br />Ordinary High Water Level <br />Public Waters <br />Development <br />Sensitive Resource Mngmnt. <br />Sewer Systems <br />Shore Impact Zone <br />Significant Historic Site <br />Steep Slope <br />Toe of the Bluff <br />Top of the Bluff <br />Water Oriented Accessory <br />Structure /Facility <br />Wetland <br />Section 2. Section 917. "S ", Shoreland District, of the <br />Little Canada Municipal Code is hereby amended in its entirety. <br />Said amendment includes the following additions: <br />► Statutory Authorization. Reference is made to legislative <br />authority contained in Minnesota Statutes. <br />► Shoreland Management Classification. Waterbodies within the <br />City are specifically identified and classified by the <br />Commissioner of Natural Resources. Areas subject to shoreland <br />regulations have also been identified on the City's official <br />zoning map. <br />► Shoreland District. The Shoreland District functions as an <br />overlay where permitted and conditional uses in the base <br />zoning district are allowed. The ordinance also provides <br />specific regulation for substandard uses. <br />Page 25 <br />
