WELCOME <br />NEW MEMBERS <br />ELECTION <br />OF OFFICERS <br />MINUTES <br />CUP & <br />VARIANCE <br />FOR PYLON <br />MARKET <br />PLACE <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JANUARY 13, 1994 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of <br />January, 1994 in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at <br />7:30 P.M., and the following members of the Commission <br />were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Gene DeLonais <br />Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Mr. Denny Davison <br />Mr. Steve Garske <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Fred Schletty <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Cary Teague, City Planner <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Rec. Secretary <br />DeLonais welcomed new member Denny Davison to the <br />Commission and congratulated John Keis on his <br />reappointment. <br />Keis nominated Gene DeLonais as Planning Commission <br />Chair for 1994. Nomination was seconded by Carson. <br />There being no further nominations, Gene DeLonais was <br />unanimously appointed as Chairman. <br />Carson nominated John Keis as Vice Chair to the <br />Planning Commission for 1994. Nomination was seconded <br />by Garske. There being no further nominations, John <br />Keis was unanimously appointed as Vice Chairman. <br />There being no corrections to the minutes of the <br />December 9, 1993 meeting, those minutes were approved <br />as submitted. <br />Mr. Stewart Chazin, representing Team Properties <br />submitted to the Commission two options for pylon <br />signage at The Market Place Shopping Center. Chazin <br />reported that the preferred option is for retention <br />of the existing Burger King sign, with that sign to be <br />refaced to provide signage for tenants at the center. <br />Page 1 <br />
