MINUTES MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING PLANNING COMMISSION LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA MARCH 10, 1994 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 10th day of March, 1994 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and the following members of the Commission were present at roll call: MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Gene DeLonais Mr. Dennis Carson Mr. Denny Davison Mr. Steve Garske (arr. 7:35 P.M.) Mr. John Keis Mr. Dan Knudsen Mr. Fred Schletty ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner Mr. Joel Hanson, City Admin. Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Rec. Secretary There being no corrections to the minutes of the February 10, 1994 Planning Commission meeting, the minutes stood approved as read. CUP FOR Mr. Andy Priolo, representing SuperAmerica, appeared SUPER- before the Commission requesting approval of a AMERICA Conditional Use Permit to operate a convenience store /gas station at 235 East Little Canada Road. Priolo reported that SuperAmerica is proposing a 3,500 square foot building with canopy over two service islands, 6 pumps and 12 service points. Priolo reported that after reviewing the City Planner's report, traffic appears to be the main issue. Most of the existing traffic is on Little Canada Road at approximately 14,000 cars per day. Traffic on Country Drive appears to be 5,000 to 6,000 cars per day. Priolo felt that traffic to the SuperAmerica site would enter the site from Little Canada Road and exit onto Country Drive.
