POLICIES FOR ASSESSING STREET OVERLAYS AND REHABS <br />ARDEN HILLS - <br />Residential - 50% assessed. <br />Multi - Family - 50% assessed. <br />Commercial - 70% assessed. <br />Public - 100% assessed. <br />This has been the policy for the last 2 or 3 years. <br />However, based on circumstances, Council could deviate <br />from this policy. Also, if an improvement is petitioned <br />for, the improvement would be assessed at 100 %. <br />MENDOTA HEIGHTS - <br />Overlays are assessed at 100% for all classes of property. <br />Rehabs are assessed at 50 %. <br />SHOREVIEW - <br />City does not assess the cost of overlays or rehabs. <br />Property owners pay for streets one time, anything done <br />after that is considered to be street maintenance. If a <br />street is reconstructed and curb and gutter is added, the <br />property owner would be assessed the cost of curb and gutter <br />at 100 %. <br />ROSEVILLE - <br />City does not assess the cost of overlays or rehabs. <br />NORTH ST. PAUL - <br />City does not assess the cost of overlays. <br />Rehabs are assessed at 100% of the cost for all classes of <br />property. <br />WOODBURY - <br />No policy on overlays and /or rehabs. Committee working on a <br />policy. Have not done any yet. <br />`-'age <br />
