MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
JUNE 9, 1994
2, and asked if that showed on the plans, which it did
not.
DeLonais reported that the Vadnais Heights' City
Administrator has informed staff that Vadnais Heights
would like to see a separated path along Vadnais Blvd.
running up to Rice Street, or the Water Works property
at a minimum.
Remerowski pointed out that such a path would disturb
quite a few trees. Remerowski indicated that Vadnais
Blvd. is a wide road with a striped bike path now.
DeLonais expressed concern about four driveway accesses
to Twin Lake Blvd. for Lots 1 through 4, Block 2 since
the driveways would be near the intersection of Twin
Lake Blvd. and Vadnais Blvd.
Keis stated that based on the plat presented this
evening, he assumes that four separate driveways are
planned for Lots 1 through 4. Keis felt that was
acceptable. Keis questioned whether or not the
Planning Commission had any input into the use of
Outlot A.
Remerowski thought that the City Council could address
the outlot issue, suggesting that there may be a better
explanation of the use of the outlot when the matter is
reviewed by the Council.
Mr. Keis recommended approval of the Preliminary Plat
for the Twin Lake Pines Addition as submitted this
evening showing 14 single - family lots as well as Outlot
A provided that there are individual driveways for Lots
1, 2, 3, 4, Block 2, and recommending approval of the
Variance for cul -de -sac length exceeding 600 feet.
Motion seconded by Garske.
Motion carried 4 - 0.
A property owner asked how many feet back from the
high -water mark must remain undisturbed, and how the
City could enforce this.
Garske suggested that this was something the DNR would
enforce.
7
