Hanson <br />Attached is a news release from Ramsey County addressing the need <br />for involvement in the County's Strategic Planning Process, <br />including potential meeting dates and time commitments for <br />committee members. <br />Both the Planning Commission and Parks & Recreation Commission <br />have reviewed information on the planning process. Only Gene <br />DeLonais has expressed an interest in serving on one of the <br />committees - the transit committee in particular. Due to the <br />time commitment involved, City Staff would like the flexibility <br />of having each department head serve on one of the committees. <br />Nominations for committee representation need to be submitted to <br />the County by July 5th. If anyone on the Council is interested <br />in serving, or would like to make a nomination to one of the <br />committees, please contact me prior to July 5th. <br />Page 108 <br />
