Xellogg Blvd. <br />St. Paul, MN 55102 <br />APPLICANTS NEEDED FOR THE RAMSEY COUNTY STRATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS <br />FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br />JUNE 3, 1994 <br />Ramsey County is developing a countywide strategic plan and vision <br />for the future. This plan will set forth the County Board's policy <br />regarding the coordination of service delivery with other units of <br />government, including recommendations regarding specific service and <br />policy areas, as provided for in the Ramsey County Home Rule Charter. <br />It is the commitment of Ramsey County to create and sustain a <br />partnership between the County, other governmental bodies and the <br />citizens of the County in creating these strategic and operational <br />Plans. <br />Applicants are sought for 15 Planning Committees which include the <br />following service areas: <br />1. A system of thoroughfares, highways, streets and other public <br />ways; <br />2. A system of public open spaces, parks and playgrounds; <br />3. The location, relocation, and improvement of public buildings <br />of County -wide significance; <br />4. A transit system; <br />S.
