MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
JUNE 9, 1994
ADJOURN
stated that no improvements are planned for Outlot A,
and Outlot A will not be connected to the public park
in Vadnais Heights.
DeLonais informed Pratt that Vadnais Heights has asked
Little Canada to address a separated path along Vadnais
Blvd. up to Rice Street or, at a minimum, the Water
Works property.
Pratt reported that this has been discussed in Vadnais
Heights, but has not been resolved. Pratt reported
that a separated path would result in the loss of a
great many trees along Vadnais Blvd. Pratt pointed out
that these trees make the area the unique area that it
is. Pratt also pointed out that there are some steep
slopes that would have to be dealt with. Pratt noted
that there already is a bike path along Vadnais Blvd.
Pratt reported that this issue was discussed by the
Little Canada Park & Recreation Commission, and their
recommendation is for a cash park charge.
Keis recommended that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Garske.
Motion carried 4 - 0.
There being no further business, the meeting was
adjourned at 8:50 P.M.
Resp - ctfully,submitted,
LPL
Kathy G anzer
Recording Secretary
9
