Hanson, City Administrator
RE: Old County Road C /Lakeshore Avenue Sidewalk Improvement
Jackson Street Trail Improvement
Trail from end of Lake Street to Savage Lake
The City Council is seeking your input on the above issues, and
would like to invite each of you to attend the June 22nd Council
meeting at which the above - referenced improvements will be
discussed. At this meeting, the City Engineer will present
options available to each of the projects as well as estimated
cost.
Please note that the Council will be discussing the benefits of a
sidewalk improvement on Old County Road C and Lakeshore Avenue
versus extending the Jackson Street trail improvement from Old
County Road C to Australian. Therefore, it is very important
that the Council is aware of the feelings of the neighborhood on
this matter before finalizing any decisions regarding
construction.
It is important to note that this is not an improvement hearing,
but rather an opportunity to receive input from affected property
owners. Again, discussion of these matters will take place at
the regular Council meeting on Wednesday, June 22nd, at the City
Center. It is anticipated that the Council will begin discussion
of this topic at approximately 8:30 P.M.
Page 39
