MINUTES <br />FRONT YARD <br />SETBACK <br />VARIANCE <br />2439 SUNRISE <br />DRIVE <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JUNE 9, 1994 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of <br />June, 1994 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at <br />7:30 P.M. and the following members of the Commission <br />were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Gene DeLonais <br />Mr. Denny Davison <br />Mr. Steve Garske <br />Mr. John Keis <br />MEMBERS EXCUSED: Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Fred Schletty <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Cary Teague, City Planner <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Admin. Asst. <br />There being no corrections to the minutes of May 5, <br />1994 special meeting and the minutes of the May 12, <br />1994 regular meeting, those minutes stood approved as <br />submitted. <br />Mr. John Maas appeared before the Commission <br />requesting approval of an 8 foot front yard setback <br />variance so that he might construct a single - family <br />home 22 feet from the street right -of -way at 2439 <br />Sunrise Drive. Maas reported that his home would be <br />setback the same distance as the house located to the <br />north. Maas described the lay -out of the house, and <br />noted that the house itself would conform to the City's <br />30 foot setback, it is the garage and a portion of a <br />window that would be encroaching into the required <br />setback. Mr. Maas pointed out that the lot drops off <br />severely in the back, therefore, it is necessary to <br />move the house forward on the lot. <br />1 <br />
