SIDEWALK SURVEY <br />JUNE 14, 1994 <br />Roseville got a Federal grant for a sidewalk improvement along <br />County Road C from Cleveland to Rice Street. (ISTEA) <br />In biz /ind /multi - family areas when developing or building <br />additions, the City requires sidewalk improvements at the <br />developer's cost, if they feel one is needed. <br />Shoreview - Public Works <br />Shoreview doesn't have many sidewalks, and the few they have were <br />not assessed. The City paid. The City put in some sidewalks <br />about five years ago. Also added some bike path area along MSA <br />roads recently, and the City picked up the cost with MSA dollars. <br />Vadnais Heights - Gerry Urban <br />The City has put in some sidewalks near parks - no assessment, <br />City picked up the cost. The City has also required developers <br />to put in some sidewalks. The City considers sidewalks to have <br />an overall community benefit in residential areas.
