be completed by the contractor. The Consultant shall certify his recommendation for acceptance of the work to the City and then shall forward to the City his /her written approval of the Contractor's Request for Final Payment which shall be signed by the contractor. 1.5.15. Review and analyze alleged defects in the Project brought to its attention prior to the expiration of the contractor's warranty period, and report in writing the findings of such review to the City. Such report shall state whether the alleged defect does meet the contract plans, specifications and standards and shall recommend a course of corrective action if one is required. Follow -up on complaints brought to its attention, when requested to do so by the City, during the period of the contractor's warranty. It is understood that in certain situations the Consultant may reasonably be due compensation for these services due to unique circumstances beyond their control. When this situation exists, the Consultant will notify the City of this fact and both parties will attempt to reach a mutually satisfactory compensation arrangement. 1.5.16. Arrange for the City to receive detailed instructions regarding the operation and maintenance of any equipment, machinery or apparatus installed as a part of the Project. Such instruction shall be supplied by the contractor and manufacturer's representative; two (2) copies of operational and maintenance manuals shall be supplied with such instruction. 1.6. Assessment Roll Phase. Attend assessment hearings explaining the Project, it's cost and proposed assessment based on adopted City policies relating to assessments. 1.7. Review of Private Development. When authorized by the City to provide services for improvements to be completed by a developer, the scope of services as described in Sections 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, and 1.5 shall be modified as appropriate and as agreed upon by both parties and developer.
