3.11. Furnish to the Consultant, prior to any performance by the <br />Consultant under this Agreement, a copy of any design and construction <br />standards which the City shall require the Consultant to follow in the <br />preparation of the Construction Contract Documents for the Project. <br />3.12. Act promptly on all "Change Orders" and provide authorization before <br />they are issued to the Contractor. <br />SECTION 4. CITY'S PAYMENT TO CONSULTANT <br />4.1. Payment for Basic Services Under SECTION 1. <br />4.1.1. The City shall pay the Consultant for the Basic Services performed <br />under SECTION 1 "ENGINEER'S SERVICES," a percent of the "Construction cost <br />of the Project ", said fee to be calculated in accordance with Schedule "Al" <br />or "A2" "A" attached to this Agreement, except, where agreed upon under the <br />Preliminary Report Phase the City may elect to pay on an hourly rate for <br />actual time spent as per the rates shown on Schedule "B" attached._ <br />4.1.1.a. Schedule "Al" shall be used to calculate the fee for the <br />following types of construction projects: <br />1. Projects involving process engineering (wells, pump houses, <br />booster stations, lift stations). <br />2. Buildings and structural facilities such as bridges, pump houses <br />and retaining walls. <br />3. Rural to urban section reconstruction projects which require <br />redesign of street grades. <br />4. Traffic signal projects. <br />5. Projects which require outside funding agency approval. <br />6. Multi- agency projects (MnDot, Ramsey County, MWCC, Department of <br />Health Ramsey- Washington Watershed District US Corps of <br />Engineers, and the DNR). <br />7.
