OFF —C17 -1994 14:0=; FROM 'Ea,IEENEY E:CREF :. ;f5 FIEIO TO <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />LITTLE CANADA F.03/07 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 903.020, G.3. <br />OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, <br />RELATING TO CHAIN LINK FENCES AND SCREENING <br />IN THE I -1 ZONING DISTRICT <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. <br />Section 903.020. G.3. of the Zoning Code of the Municipal <br />Code of the City of Little Canada is hereby amended to read as <br />follows: <br />903.020.G.3. The screening required herein in all zoning <br />districts other than I-1 shall consist of a solid fence or wall <br />constructed from masonry, brick, wood and /or steel. A chain <br />link fence with slats does not constitute an acceptable screen <br />or qualify as a solid fence in these districts. In the I -1 <br />Zoning District, the screening required herein shall consist of <br />a chain link fence with slats, or a solid fence or wall <br />constructed from masonry, brick, wood and /or steel. Required <br />fences or walls shall not exceed eight (8) feet in height or be <br />less than six (6) feet in height. Screening shall not extend <br />within fifteen (15) feet of any street and shall be placed along <br />the property line. In the case of screening along the street, <br />screening shall be fifteen (15) feet from the street with <br />landscaping (trees, scrubs, grass, and other planting) between <br />the screening and the boulevard. All fences and walls shall be <br />constructed and maintained in accordance with the requirements <br />of Section 903.020.F.4. In addition, the required maintenance <br />of chain link fences with slats shall include the replacement of <br />broken slats, damaged posts, and bent or broken rails. Required <br />maintenance of wooden fences shall include the replacement of <br />broken or rotten boards. <br />Section 2. <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and <br />after its passage and publication. <br />PASSED by the City Council of Little Canada this day <br />of , 19 <br />ATTEST: <br />Joel R.
