October 22, 2013
I had a call from Mike Dorn, who lives on Payne Avenue and received a copy of the memo, on Tuesday,
October 22. He asked us to consider shifting the allowed parking side to the west side of Payne due to
the awkward corner at Labore Road. I told him that we have considered the intersection and were
proposing to keep the first 50 -100 feet as no parking anytime to aid in safety at the intersection.
He said he would prefer it stay no parking anytime but understood that people like to have gatherings.
He also mentioned that another option is to have the abutting properties give up some land so the road
could be widened to the same width as the rest of the road.
Bill Dircks
Public Works Superintendent
