From: mary- doug©juno.com [mailto:mary- douq@iuno.com]
Sent: Wednesday, October 23, 2013 10:27 AM
To: Bill Dircks
Subject: Payne Avenue
Bill,
We would like to comment on the reclassification of the No Parking area on Payne Avenue.
One of the reasons for the no parking zone was the difficulty turning from LaBore onto Payne and the
bottleneck that would happen. We hope parking on one side will not hinder emergency vehicles and school
buses from being able to turn onto the street, especially during the winter months if we have any significant
snow falls or snow piles making it difficult to see and maneuver.
If parking is allowed on one side we hope that people will not just assume they can park on both sides.
And, if we had wanted to have to deal with waiting for a vehicle to pass before being able to get through we
would be living in St. Paul or Minneapolis, not Little Canada.
Thank you for your time,
Doug and Mary Peterson
2995 Payne Avenue
33 year residents of Payne Avenue
