Hanson
TO: Property Owners Abutting LaBore Road Between Edgerton Street and
County Road D
FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator
DATE: November 1, 2013
RE: LaBore Road Traffic Study
Over the past few years, there has been a lot of discussion about adding 4 -way stops and other
traffic control measures along LaBore Road. With the new Pinetree Pond Development, the City
Council felt it was warranted to have an independent traffic evaluation conducted. Short Elliott
Hendrickson (SEH) was hired to do this study, and the City specifically asked for emphasis at
the intersections of LaBore Road /Arcade Street and LaBore Road /Cherry Hill Lane / Pinetree
Court.
The traffic study has been completed (copy enclosed), and will be reviewed by SEI-I and the City
Council at their November 13, 2013 meeting at 7:30 p.m. We are providing you with notice of
the meeting so that property owners abutting LaBore Road have an opportunity to participate in
the discussion. The SEH Traffic Engineer and representatives from the Sheriff's Department
will he present at this meeting.
Again, you are invited to attend the November 13th Council meeting to provide your input. If
you have any questions in the meantime, you can contact me at 651- 766 -4040. Feel free to tell
others of this meeting if you feel they may be interested.
1
