PHONE 952.888 -651 FAX 952-888-2587 Structural Engineering Services & Fees: The Structural Engineering services, based on the above assumptions, will include one Site Observation visit as well as review of the existing building Structural Drawings. Upon completion of the site visit and review of the existing structural documents, Wenzel Engineering, Inc. (WEI) would produce a report which addresses the items 1 -4 above. We agree to render our professional services as indicated above for items 1 -4 for a Lump Sum Fee of $3700.00. We would anticipate that a final report could be issued approximately 10 working days after receiving notice to proceed on the project. We propose to contract with The Adkins Association for services related to the evaluation of the roofing system (Item #5, above). We have obtained a fee estimate from them, and they are as follows: Option #1: Roofing inspection and evaluation and follow -up report based on visual observations of the roof surface. This option would be based solely on what is readily seen by the naked eye and includes no cutting of the roofing system. This option would be provided for a fee not to exceed $800.00. Option #2: Roofing inspection, evaluation and follow -up report based on visual observation of the roof surface as well as a core - sampling that would be made by cutting into the existing roofing system. This option would be provided for a fee not to exceed $1100.00, and includes repair of sampled areas. Site visits, other than the one visit included in our original scope of services, meetings requested by the Owner (including but not limited to telephone, teleconference, in person or video conference), or consideration of additional issues outside the items identified above will be billed at our standard hourly rates, plus reimbursable expenses as applicable. A copy of our standard hourly rates and reimbursable expense schedule is included at the end of this proposal for your reference. Limit of Services: We are not responsible for job site safety or the means and methods of the contractor. Ownership of Documents: All documents produced by Wenzel Engineering, Inc. (WEI) under this agreement shall remain the property of WEI and may not be used by this Client for any other project without the written consent of WEI.
