llli 1ING 6 . fISSO(IATCS <br />Memo <br />TO: Honorable Mayor & City Council Members <br />FROM: Lee Elfering, City Engineer <br />DATE: November 21, 2013 <br />RE: Met Council Agreement Amendment #2 <br />TAU IIARTII <br />Included in the Council packet is Amendment #2 to the Little Canada Interceptor <br />Cooperation and Reconveyance Agreement between the City of Little Canada and the <br />Metropolitan Council. Earlier this summer Amendment #1 was approved increasing the <br />cost reimbursement to the City based on anticipated project costs and extending the <br />effective date of the agreement until the end of November 2013. <br />While the major construction items of the project have been completed, there are <br />punchlist items that still need to be addressed on the project. There is also some <br />concern that settlement may occur in the areas that were excavated after going through <br />a freeze thaw cycle which may require additional grading.
