Hanson <br />Truth in Taxation regulations require that the City establish TNT <br />hearing dates for the 1996 Budget by September 15th. These <br />regulations also prohibit the scheduling of the City's hearings <br />on any of the dates selected by Ramsey County, Metro Special <br />Taxing Districts, and School Districts No. 623 and 624. Given <br />these limitations, there are very few dates left for the City to <br />choose (see calendar attached). The following are staff's <br />recommendations for the City's Truth in Taxation hearings: <br />Public Hearing - Wednesday, November 29th - 7:30 P.M. <br />Continuation, if necessary - Thurs., Dec. 7th - 6:00 P.M. <br />Adoption of 1996 Budget - Wednesday, Dec. 13th - 7:30 P.M. <br />Page 134 <br />
