MINUTES <br />SCULLY <br />PROPERTY <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTEMBER 14, 1995 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 14th day of <br />September, 1995 in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at <br />7:30 P.M. and the following members of the Commission <br />were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Gene DeLonais <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Steve Garske <br />Mr. Fred Schletty <br />MEMBERS EXCUSED: Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Admin. Asst. <br />There being no corrections to the minutes of August 10, <br />1995 regular meeting, those minutes stood approved as <br />submitted. <br />Mr. John Scully appeared before the Commission and <br />reported that the City of Maplewood has contact him <br />regarding the possible sale of his mother's property to <br />Maplewood for park land. Maplewood is considering the <br />purchase of 5 to 12 acres of property as park land to <br />serve their residential development in the area. <br />Scully reported that the property totals 27 acres and <br />that he is not interested in parceling it out. Scully <br />stated that he would like to sell the whole piece. <br />The City Planner reported that he has discussed the <br />issue with the Maplewood Parks Department. They <br />indicated Maplewood is looking for park land in the <br />area. The Planner stated that he spoke with Jim <br />Morelan, Parks & Recreation Director, and he indicated <br />that Little Canada was not looking to develop a park in <br />this area. The Planner reported that he indicated to <br />Maplewood that he was not sure Little Canada was <br />1 <br />Page 72 <br />
