MINUTES SCULLY PROPERTY MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING PLANNING COMMISSION LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA SEPTEMBER 14, 1995 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 14th day of September, 1995 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and the following members of the Commission were present at roll call: MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Gene DeLonais Mr. Scott Barraclough Mr. Steve Garske Mr. Fred Schletty MEMBERS EXCUSED: Mr. Dennis Carson Mr. John Keis Mr. Dan Knudsen ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Admin. Asst. There being no corrections to the minutes of August 10, 1995 regular meeting, those minutes stood approved as submitted. Mr. John Scully appeared before the Commission and reported that the City of Maplewood has contact him regarding the possible sale of his mother's property to Maplewood for park land. Maplewood is considering the purchase of 5 to 12 acres of property as park land to serve their residential development in the area. Scully reported that the property totals 27 acres and that he is not interested in parceling it out. Scully stated that he would like to sell the whole piece. The City Planner reported that he has discussed the issue with the Maplewood Parks Department. They indicated Maplewood is looking for park land in the area. The Planner stated that he spoke with Jim Morelan, Parks & Recreation Director, and he indicated that Little Canada was not looking to develop a park in this area.
