MINUTES <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JULY 13, 1995 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of <br />July, 1995 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at <br />7:30 P.M. and the following members of the Commission <br />were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Gene DeLonais <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Mr. Steve Garske <br />Mr. John Keis (arr. 7:45 P.M.) <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen (arr. 7:47 P.M.) <br />Mr. Fred Schletty <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Admin. Asst. <br />There being no corrections to the minutes of June 8, <br />1995 regular meeting, those minutes stood approved as <br />submitted. <br />CUP FOR Mr. David Wilson, 636 Keller Parkway, presented plans <br />GARAGE - for the addition of garage space to his home. Wilson <br />WILSON reported that he currently has a two -car garage, and <br />would like to add space for two additional vehicles. <br />Wilson also explained that he is planning to change the <br />roof lines of his home and install new windows. <br />Garske asked why a conditional use permit is necessary <br />in this case. Garske asked if CUP's were necessary for <br />3 -car garages. <br />The City Planner explained that a conditional use <br />permit is necessary for accessory building or garage <br />space in excess of 1,000 square feet. The Planner <br />reported that most 3- car garages are in the 700 to 800 <br />square foot range. A typical 2 -car garage is 450 <br />square feet.
