week. <br />G. Free Pick -Up. Bellaire Sanition Inc. shall provide <br />service as necessary for the collection and disposal <br />of refuse from all City -owned properties and parks <br />at no cost to the City during the term of this <br />agreement. <br />H. The Contractor shall dispose of all refuse collected <br />in Little Canada at a site approved by the Minnesota <br />Pollution Control Agency and /or Ramsey County Solid <br />Waste Division. <br />I. The City will be provided with an annual spring <br />"clean -up" day during the term of this contract. <br />The City shall designate a Saturday in April or May <br />at which time this service shall be provided. <br />Refuse shall be delivered to a drop off site <br />designated by the City. All necessary collection <br />equipment and labor shall be provided by Woodlake <br />Sanitary Service Inc. at no cost to the City. The <br />City shall negotiate fees to be paid by the <br />residents for the drop off service with said fees to <br />be low enough to create an incentive to use the <br />service. Items to be collected shall include: <br />construction material, scrap iron, tires, furniture, <br />recyclables, and refuse. The Contractor shall be <br />responsible for collecting fees at the time of drop <br />off. <br />5. Yard Waste Collection Service. <br />A. Description. Yard waste collection service shall <br />include the collection of all yard waste from <br />residential dwelling units in the City of Little <br />Canada. <br />B. Location. Residential dwelling units shall have <br />their yard waste in an approved container located at <br />the boulevard adjoining the curb on or before 7:00 <br />a.m. on the designated day of collection. <br />C. Frequency. Yard Waste Collection Service shall be <br />provided between April 15 to June 1 and October 1 to <br />November 15 each year and each residential dwelling <br />unit shall have its yard waste collected a minimum <br />of once per week, provided the City provide an <br />approved site for the dumping of yard waste within <br />Ramsey County. <br />D. Reporting. Amounts in unit agreed to be parties <br />(yards, or tons) reported monthly or quarterly. <br />5 <br />Page 77 <br />
