week. G. Free Pick -Up. Bellaire Sanition Inc. shall provide service as necessary for the collection and disposal of refuse from all City -owned properties and parks at no cost to the City during the term of this agreement. H. The Contractor shall dispose of all refuse collected in Little Canada at a site approved by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and /or Ramsey County Solid Waste Division. I. The City will be provided with an annual spring "clean -up" day during the term of this contract. The City shall designate a Saturday in April or May at which time this service shall be provided. Refuse shall be delivered to a drop off site designated by the City. All necessary collection equipment and labor shall be provided by Woodlake Sanitary Service Inc. at no cost to the City. The City shall negotiate fees to be paid by the residents for the drop off service with said fees to be low enough to create an incentive to use the service. Items to be collected shall include: construction material, scrap iron, tires, furniture, recyclables, and refuse. The Contractor shall be responsible for collecting fees at the time of drop off. 5. Yard Waste Collection Service. A. Description. Yard waste collection service shall include the collection of all yard waste from residential dwelling units in the City of Little Canada. B. Location. Residential dwelling units shall have their yard waste in an approved container located at the boulevard adjoining the curb on or before 7:00 a.m. on the designated day of collection. C. Frequency. Yard Waste Collection Service shall be provided between April 15 to June 1 and October 1 to November 15 each year and each residential dwelling unit shall have its yard waste collected a minimum of once per week, provided the City provide an approved site for the dumping of yard waste within Ramsey County. D. Reporting. Amounts in unit agreed to be parties (yards, or tons) reported monthly or quarterly. 5 Page 77
