MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
JANUARY 12, 1995
Howard Remerowski, 253 Twin Lake Trail, submitted
pictures of the homes on Twin Lake Trail. Remerowski
reported that there are older homes on Twin Lake Road,
but the oldest home on Twin Lake Trail was 12 years
old.
Keis again stated that his biggest concern is how this
house will fit in the neighborhood. Keis stated that
he hated to see a house moved in that does not fit, and
pointed out that there is no garage proposed for this
home. Keis felt the Commission must consider whether
or not this house would detract from property values in
the area.
Al Graf stated that the value of the house his son is
proposing to move in will be at the low end, but it
will fit in the neighborhood. Graf reported that there
are plans to eventually add a deck and garage.
Tony Hall, 244 Twin Lake Trail, reported that there is
standing water on the lot in question, and asked where
the water will be pushed to when the lot is filled.
Remerowski reported that the existing property owners
on Twin Lake Trail are trying to protect their property
values. Remerowski stated that he would not have a
problem with a stick -built house in the $80,000
bracket. Remerowski stated that the house proposed to
be moved in does not fit in with the rest of the
neighborhood. Remerowski pointed out that the lot has
been on the market for the past 12 years and has not
sold because it is a swamp.
Al Graf reported that the lot would be filled in.
Hall asked where the water will go if the lot is
filled.
The City Planner indicated that the lot is less than
one acre in size, therefore, probably exempt from
wetland status. However, a fill permit would be
required, and the City Engineer would review that
permit application.
Al Graf reported that if the lot cannot be filled, they
would not proceed with the purchase.
There were several Twin Lake Trail property owners
5
Page 102
