and sand to the area, and pointed out the work that has been done <br />over the last 15 to 20 years to improve water quality. <br />Schact again stated that a Watershed permit is not necessary, but <br />suggested that if property owners have concerns they could contact <br />Cliff Aichinger at the Watershed. <br />Haider felt that the run -off would be virtually the same, pointing <br />out that the current shoulders are compacted and not absorbing run- <br />off. <br />Karolyn Kingsbury pointed out that the wider road will result in <br />snow being moved closer to the lake. <br />A property owner asked for copies of the County's plans. <br />Schact reported that he would have the plans reduced and given them <br />to City Hall for distribution to interested residents. <br />A resident stated that he would like to see a plan drawn up for the <br />one -way option. <br />The Administrator replied that the City can take a look at that <br />option and determine what the impacts are. The Administrator felt <br />that a separate path would require more use of the right -of -way and <br />would have a greater impact on trees and surrounding properties. <br />There are also County turn -back issues to be considered, as well as <br />coordination between the two cities. <br />A property owner asked the timeline for resolving the matter. <br />The City Administrator pointed out that a separate path could be <br />put in as a separate project. If the one -way option is decided <br />upon, that could delay the project. The Administrator stated that <br />he would try to put together as much information as possible within <br />the next 30 days. At the point additional information has been <br />gathered, the property owners would received mailed notice that the <br />matter would be considered by the City Council. <br />Drake pointed out that the County could proceed with a 22 or 24 <br />foot maintenance project as well as the City's water main project. <br />After that point, there could be discussions about whether or not <br />to make Keller Parkway one -way. Drake asked if the County would <br />lose aid dollars if Keller Parkway were turned over to the City. <br />Schact replied that it would, but there are roads being turned over <br />to the County by the State which increases aid dollars. If the <br />road were turned over to the City, the City may be eligible for <br />State aid dollars for Keller Parkway. <br />Residents conducted an informal survey asking if they favored the <br />one -way option.
