EMPLOYEE'S RESPONSIBILITY
General Policy
For the effective administration and implementation of City
policy, and to serve the citizens, each individual employee must
cooperate to the fullest with all fellow employees and the
public. Public employees have a high degree of visibility to the
general public and, therefore, must exercise particular care and
caution to ensure that all work undertaken is accomplished
expediently and with efficiency. To achieve this goal, employees
must adhere to established rules and procedures and follow the
instructions of their supervisors and department heads.
Employees Are Required To:
A. Render prompt and courteous service to the public at all
times conducting themselves with decorum, patience, and
every possible courtesy.
B. Perform their assigned duties to the best of their ability
at all times and to continually strive to improve their
performance.
C. Read, understand and comply with the rules and regulations
as set forth in these Personnel Policies as well as those of
their department.
D. Report all unsafe conditions to their immediate supervisor.
7
