EMPLOYEE /COUNCIL SUNSHINE FUND <br />The following are the criteria established for an <br />Employee /Council Sunshine Fund to cover instances such as <br />weddings, hospitalizations, funerals, etc. of full -time and <br />regular part -time employees and Council Members. Each full -time <br />and regular part -time employee, as well as Council Members, will <br />be asked to donate $10 to the Fund initially, which will be <br />administered as outlined below. We are anticipating collecting <br />to replenish the fund at the time its balance falls below $50. <br />The amount of future contributions will be determined based on <br />our experience with the Fund. <br />SUNSHINE GIFTS: <br />$25.00 - Weddings (Cash) <br />$25.00 - Baby (Cash) <br />$25.00 - Hospitalization <br />(Flowers) <br />Employee /Council Member Only <br />Gift for Baby (Incl. adoptions) <br />Employee /Council Member /Spouse <br />(Must be hospitalized for a minimum <br />of 3 days - does not include <br />childbirth or hospitalization for <br />tests.) <br />$35.00 - Memorial or Flowers Death of Employee, Council Member, <br />or member of immediate family <br />(Spouse, children, parents, or <br />parents -in -law) <br />$10.00 - Resignation <br />$15.00 - Resignation <br />$25.00 - Resignation <br />$50.00 - Retirement <br />Please Note: It is our <br />recommendation that Memorials for <br />past Employees or past Council <br />Members as well as their immediate <br />family, as outlined above, consist <br />of a card only. <br />Employees with up to one year <br />service <br />Employees with 1 to 5 years service <br />Employees with 5 years service <br />Employees with minimum of 10 years <br />employment with the City at at <br />least 55 years of age. <br />51 <br />
