Optional Provisions. The following chapters of <br />Minnesota Rules are not a mandatory part of the Code, but are <br />hereby adopted by reference for the City of Little Canada and are <br />incorporated, without change, into this ordinance as completely <br />as if set out in full: <br />1. Minnesota Rules, Chapter 1306, Special Fire <br />Protection Systems with option 8; and <br />2. Minnesota Rules, Chapter 1335, Floodproofing <br />Regulations parts 1335.0600 to 1335.1200. <br />301.020. The Building Department shall be the Building Code <br />Department of the City of Little Canada. The Administrative <br />Authority shall be a state certified "Building Official" so <br />designated by the Appointing Authority. The appointing authority <br />shall be the Council of the City of Little Canada. <br />301.030. <br />(A) Application, Administration, and Enforcement. The <br />application, administration, and enforcement of the code shall be <br />in accordance with Minnesota Rule part 1300.2100 and as modified <br />by Chapter 1305. <br />(B) Permits and Fees. The issuance of permits and the <br />collection of fees shall be as authorized in Minnesota Statute <br />16B.62, subdivision 1 and as provided for in chapter 1 of the <br />1994 Uniform Building Code and Minnesota rules parts 1305.0106 <br />and 1305.0107. The issuance of building permits and permits <br />within a right -of -way shall be pursuant to Sections 501.030 and <br />501.040 of the Little Canada Code. <br />-2- <br />Page 33 <br />
