The Commissioners have asked for the <br />City's comments; and at the last Council meeting, the matter was <br />referred to the Planning Commission and Park & Recreation <br />Commission for their review. Attached are excerpts from the <br />Commissions' minutes for your information. <br />As further directed by the Council, I have contacted both <br />McKesson Drug (Neil Rafferty, Operations Manager) and Vincent <br />Metals (George Dougherty, Manager of Facilities) regarding this <br />matter. Both firms indicated that while they are not interested <br />in purchasing the property, they thought it was a good idea to <br />get the property back on the tax rolls and developed. McKesson <br />Drug and Vincent Metals understand that the existing zoning of <br />the property is B -3. <br />Page 35 <br />
