MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />FEBRUARY 26, 2014 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 26th day of <br />February, 2014 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Acting Mayor Rick Montour called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and <br />the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />ABSENT: <br />Acting Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Ms. Shelly Boss <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mayor Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Mr. Michael McGraw <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />Public Works Supt. Mr. Bill Dircks <br />City Planner Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Cable TV Producer Mr. Kevin Helander <br />City Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />MINUTES Boss introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014 -2 -37 — APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br />THE FEBRUARY 12, 2014 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS <br />SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (3). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />DONATION Little Canada Fire Chief Don Smiley appeared before the Council and <br />TO FIRE reported that in 2012 the Little Canada Fire Department committed to <br />EQUIPMENT contributing 50% of their charitable gambling proceeds to the City for use <br />FUND in the funding of future truck purchases. The Chief reported that the Fire <br />Department has provided funding in the City outside of Fire Department <br />activities since 1947. The Chief noted that this current donation would not <br />have been possible without the people who participate in charitable <br />
