whether the group meets the parameters established. If the request is denied, the group would have the option to appeal staff's decision to the City Council. General Requirements • The City may opt to require general liability insurance and have the City named as an additional insured under this policy. • Day long or weekend tournaments are limited to a total of six tournaments per year in Spooner Park and a total of six tournaments per year in Pioneer Park. • Any damage to park facilities during or as a result of a tournament shall be the responsibility of the tournament operators irrespective of the cause. • Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into the park except for licensed sales. Any group desiring to sell alcohol as part of their tournament must obtain the required license /permit through Little Canada City Hall. • Parking is allowed in designated parking lots only. An additional permit is required to allow on- street parking on Ili Road. No on- street parking will be allowed on Centerville Road. • Tournament personnel are required to monitor parking and parking lots and are responsible for crowd control. • Vehicular access within the park is limited to the operator of the concession stand, the Parks & Recreation Department maintenance personnel, and emergency vehicles. • Tournament hours and usage of the park must be in compliance with the City's Park Ordinance. • Field preparation and maintenance is the responsibility of the tournament operator. Field maintenance practices and equipment to be used must he reviewed with and approved by the Parks & Recreation Department. • The operator of the tournament must compile a packet of tournament and City rules. 'these must be provided to all managers of all teams participating in the tournament. City staff must be review and approve the organization's tournament rules prior to distribution. • Tournament operators will hear the cost associated with extra servicing of portable toilets, should such servicing be necessary as a result of the tournament. • The privilege of using the City's park facilities can be revoked at any time due to misuse of the building, grounds, or other issues of concern as determined by City staff This includes discontinuance of a tournament in progress if deemed necessary by City staff.
