If the request is denied, the group would <br />have the option to appeal staff's decision to the City Council. <br />General Requirements <br />• The City may opt to require general liability insurance and have the City named as an <br />additional insured under this policy. <br />• Day long or weekend tournaments are limited to a total of six tournaments per year in <br />Spooner Park and a total of six tournaments per year in Pioneer Park. <br />• Any damage to park facilities during or as a result of a tournament shall be the <br />responsibility of the tournament operators irrespective of the cause. <br />• Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into the park except for licensed sales. Any <br />group desiring to sell alcohol as part of their tournament must obtain the required <br />license /permit through Little Canada City Hall. <br />• Parking is allowed in designated parking lots only. An additional permit is required to <br />allow on- street parking on Ili Road. No on- street parking will be allowed on Centerville <br />Road. <br />• Tournament personnel are required to monitor parking and parking lots and are <br />responsible for crowd control. <br />• Vehicular access within the park is limited to the operator of the concession stand, the <br />Parks & Recreation Department maintenance personnel, and emergency vehicles. <br />• Tournament hours and usage of the park must be in compliance with the City's Park <br />Ordinance. <br />• Field preparation and maintenance is the responsibility of the tournament operator. Field <br />maintenance practices and equipment to be used must he reviewed with and approved by <br />the Parks & Recreation Department. <br />• The operator of the tournament must compile a packet of tournament and City rules. <br />'these must be provided to all managers of all teams participating in the tournament. City <br />staff must be review and approve the organization's tournament rules prior to <br />distribution. <br />• Tournament operators will hear the cost associated with extra servicing of portable <br />toilets, should such servicing be necessary as a result of the tournament. <br />• The privilege of using the City's park facilities can be revoked at any time due to misuse <br />of the building, grounds, or other issues of concern as determined by City staff This <br />includes discontinuance of a tournament in progress if deemed necessary by City staff. <br />
