Citing increases in the most
recent estimates for these projects, the Commission unanimously voted to recommend that Park
Land Acquisition Funds be used to help fund these projects to ensure that both projects can get
underway as soon as possible.
The Commission recommended the transfer of up to $45,000 from the Park Land Acquisition
Fund to finance these two projects. Specifically, up to $35,000 to be used for the concrete
sidewalk improvement at Veterans Memorial Park and up to $10,000 to he used for general
construction costs for the Fire Barns -Skate Park Warming House project.
