MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 9, 2014 <br />ADJOURN <br />Keis noted a recent article in the newspaper which indicates that accidents <br />between trains and vehicles is higher in 2013 than in 2012. <br />There was also discussion about the blocking of crossings with non- <br />moving trains. While the Sheriff's Department can issue citations for <br />crossings being blocked longer than ten minutes, the Department is having <br />difficulty in determining who to cite. Montour noted the public safety <br />issue that this is causing given the impact on response times for police, <br />fire, and ambulance. <br />The Administrator reported that he will continue to pressure SEH for the <br />results of their study and will forward the study to the Council upon <br />receipt. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:48 a.m. <br />`William Blesener, Mayor <br />Janson, City Administrato <br />11 <br />
