PUBLIC WORKS - PARKS PROJECT MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA APRIL 9, 2014 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 9th day of April, 2014 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Citizen City Clerk Mr. Jeff Oertel Mr. "Thomas Stromsodt Mr. Dick Naughton Mr. Troy Corbett Mr. Don Gagne Ms. Kathy Glanzer The purpose of this evening's workshop meeting is to review the project scope and budget for the Public Works -Parks Garage project. Stromsodt reported that the Project Review Committee has worked through the project and has identified potential cost reduction options. 'These are as follows: 1. Reduce the salt storage structure with no bins in the northwest corner of the property. The Review Committee supported this change. The original budget estimate for this feature was $125,000 and the modification resulted in savings of $65,000. Stromsodt reviewed renderings of the modified salt structure for those present.
