The City Administrator <br />reviewed the Action Plan noting that there are four residential homes <br />remaining on Round Lake. He indicated that the original plan was to <br />acquire the two remaining houses that are located in the middle of the <br />Little Canada Road stretch. Montour suggested that at a minimum the <br />City riy to obtain first right of refusal on all four remaining houses. It was <br />the consensus of the Council to first contact the owners of the two middle <br />homes to determine their interest in selling or giving the City first right of <br />refusal. <br />Focus on Redevelopment. The City Administrator reviewed the Action <br />Plan which focuses on redevelopment of the Gateway Area, Ryan <br />Industrial Park, reface of office buildings/strip malls on Little Canada <br />Road. He then updated the Council on the status of the Sherman <br />developments. <br />The Administrator indicated that he will prepare individual status/option <br />reports on each of the redevelopment opportunity areas focusing on their <br />individual circumstances. These will then be presented to the Council for <br />review. <br />Continue to move forward with new Public Works Garage. The <br />Administrator reviewed this Action Plan noting the discussion that <br />occurred at the Apri19`h Information Update Workshop. <br />Complete Multi-Housing Crime Prevention/Licensing Efforts. The <br />Administrator reviewed this Action Plan and noted that the proposed <br />licensing ordinance would be modeled after the Burnsville Ordinance. <br />Once the draft ordinance is ready, it will be reviewed by impacted <br />property owners and MMFHA prior to presentation to the Council for <br />review. <br />Enhance County Road B-2/Rice Street Intersections. The City <br />Administrator reviewed this Action Plan, noting St. Jude's desire for an <br />upgraded appearance for this intersection given the location of their <br />corporate headquarters and their intent to expand. <br />
