MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />May 28, 2014 <br />CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved hs adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014-5-90 — APPROVING THE ISSUANCE AND <br />SALE OF HEALTH CARE FACILITY REVENUE NOTES AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF DOCUMENTS RELATING <br />THERETO (MARANATHA CARE CENTER PROJECT) <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Boss introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014-5-91— APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS; <br />*CALL FOR A WORKSHOP MEETING TO REVIEW CITY CENTER <br />PROJECT SCOPE FOR JUNE 11, 2014 AT 6:00 P.M.; <br />*APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT WITH RAMSEY COUNTY <br />RELATIVE TO LITTLE CANADA ROAD SIDEWALK AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO <br />EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />FINAL The City Administrator reviewed his May 22, 2014 report recommending <br />PAYMENT final payment to the City of Roseville from the Rice Street Phase I <br />TO THE powerline undergrounding project. He noted that while this project was <br />CITY OF completed a number of years ago, both the Cities of Roseville and Little <br />ROSEVILLE Canada have been in discussions with Xcel Energy relative to the costs <br />FOR RICE associated with the undergrounding work. The initial estimate for the <br />STREET work was $551,259. There were cost overruns of approximately $140,000 <br />PHASE I as well as additional charges for changes in the project scope, resulting in <br />XCEL total project costs of $829,539. The Administrator reported that Xcel has <br />ENERGY agreed to reduce their charges by $137,629, resulting in final costs of <br />COSTS $691,910. The City of Little Canada agreed to share these costs equally <br />with the City of Roseville, and based on payments already made to <br />
