MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 25, 2007 <br />Montour stated that he can appreciate the arrangement, but questioned the <br />ability of The Venetian to serve alcohol at the Oops Theater. It was noted <br />that The Venetian holds both an On-Sale Liquor License as well as a <br />Catering License. <br />There was no one else present from the general public wishing to <br />comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Allan, seconded by McGraw, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Allan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2007-4-99 - APPROVING A PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT PERMIT TO ALLOW THE OPERATION OFA <br />DINNER THEATER/BANQUET FACILITYAT THE MARKET <br />PLACE SHOPPING CENTER AT 2900 RICE STREET AS <br />REQUESTED BY THE OOPS THEATER SUBJECT TO <br />COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY <br />PLANNER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CUPS, TEXT Mayor Blesener opened the continuation of Public Hearing to consider <br />AMENDMENT, the applications of Valor Enterprises located at 3161-3167 Spruce Street <br />AND LICENSES - for the following: <br />3161-3167 Conditional Use Permit for motor vehicle sales lot; <br />SPRUCE STREET - Conditional Use Permit for outdoor storage of motor vehicles <br />VALOR (for sale and repairables) and storage containers; <br />ENTERPRISES Text Amendment to the City Code increasing the maximum <br />number of motor vehicles sales lot licenses (indoor) <br />from four (4) to five (5); <br />Motor Vehicle Repair License; <br />Motor Vehicle Sales Lot (Outdoor) License; <br />Motor Vehicle Sales Lot (Indoor) License. <br />The City Planner began with a detailed review of his April 12, 2007 report <br />first outlining the specific standards in the Zoning Ordinance for review of <br />Conditional Use Permits and Text Amendments. The Planner provided <br />detailed comments in this report relative to the following standards: <br />1. Comprehensive Plan Consistency; <br />2. Compatibility with present and future land uses; <br />3. Compliance with all performance standards; <br />14 <br />
