Dever reviewed a listing of proposed
building tasks notes which summarize the improvement options to be
discussed this evening. The City Administrator reported that the initial
budget discussed for these improvements was $150,000 from the General
Capital Improvement Fund. There are dollars available from the Cable
Fund for Council Chamber improvements. He noted that the $150,000
will not be adequate to make the improvements (non -cable related) to be
discussed this evening, and other funding sources will need to be
identified or some improvements will need to be deleted. Dever reviewed
the summary of improvements as follows:
*Paint all walls, ceiling, soffits, door frames, and metal doors that are
currently blue. Work includes minor patching/repair of gypsum
board walls. Corridor 114 to receive a wallcovering in lieu of paint.
*Porcelain floor tile and carpet tiles will be the same throughout the
building for sake of simplicity and cohesiveness.
