MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 25, 2014 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The Council went into closed session at 10:16 p.m. <br />Boss introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014-6-119- ADJOURNING THE CLOSED <br />SESSION AND RECONVENING THE REGULAR COUNCIL <br />MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The regular Council meeting was reconvened at 10:27 p.m. <br />The City Attorney reported that during the closed session, the City <br />Council gave the City Administrator authority to continue negotiations <br />relative to the sale of the City's Rice Street/Viking Drive property. <br />CALL FOR The City Attorney recommended that the Council go into closed as <br />CLOSED allowed by State Statute under Attorney -Client Privilege to discuss the <br />SESSION — City's contract with the St. Paul Regional Water Authority and threatened <br />ST. PAUL litigation. <br />REGIONAL <br />WATER Boss introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />SERVICES <br />CONTRACT RESOLUTION NO. 2014-6-120 - TEMPORARILY ADJOURNING <br />ISSUES THE REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AND CONVENING INTO <br />CLOSED SESSION TO DISCUSS THE ST. PAUL REGIONAL <br />WATER CONTRACT AND THREATENED LITIGATION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0).
