MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 9, 2014 <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CANADIAN The City Administrator reported that Canadian Days Committee has <br />DAYS requested the issue of additional parking for the Canadian Days <br />PARKING Celebration be addressed. The Administrator suggested that a workshop <br />meeting be held with the Council, the Parks & Recreation Commission, <br />and representatives of Canadian Days Committee to explore a long-term <br />solution. <br />Montour agreed and indicated that a solution needs to be found that helps <br />Canadian Days but does not negatively impact the park. <br />The City Administrator indicated that the Parks & Recreation Commission <br />will be asked to set a date for this workshop at their next meeting. <br />FIRE The City Administrator suggested that during the time the Mayor is <br />RELIEF unavailable, someone from the Council fill his role in discussing Fire <br />ASSOCIATION Relief issues with the Fire Department. McGraw indicated that he would <br />fill this role with Montour indicated that if McGraw is unavailable, he <br />would be fill in. <br />NATIONAL It was noted that Tuesday, August 5th, is National Night Out. <br />NIGHT OUT Neighborhoods wishing to participate in this celebration should contact <br />the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department. <br />WATER <br />TOWER <br />ADJOURN <br />Montour noted that the repainting of the City's water tower is nearing <br />completion and the project has proceeded well. <br />There being no further business, the meets as adjourned at 8:09 p.m. <br />itaa4,/ <br />R'< Montour, Acting Mayor <br />8 <br />
