MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JULY 9, 2014 PUBLIC WORKS - PARKS FACILITY GROUND- BREAKING CEREMONY TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSES — LCRA Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2014-7-128 — AWARDING THE QUOTE OF C.W. HOULE, INC. FOR WATER TOWER VALVE REPLACEMENT AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ENGINEER IN HIS JULY 9, 2014 REPORT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. The City Administrator recommended that a groundbreaking ceremony be held for the new Public Works -Parks Maintenance Facility. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2014-7-129 — SCHEDULING A GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS - PARKS MAINTENANCE FACILITY FOR WEDNESDAY, JULY 23, 2014 AT 6:30 P.M. The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. The City Clerk reported that the Little Canada Recreation Association (LCRA) has made application for Temporary Liquor Licenses for Canadian Days, August 1-3, 2014, and for their Kickball Tournament, September 6, 2014. The Clerk indicated that LCRA has indicated that their Liquor Serving Rules that were adopted for 2012 and 2013 will be followed. LCRA has indicated that they will also have an additional security officer present. The Clerk indicated that application materials are in order, and recommended approval of the temporary liquor licenses. McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2014-7-130 — APPROVING TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSES FOR LITTLE CANADA RECREATION ASSOCIATION FOR AUGUST 1-3, 2014 CANADIAN DAYS AND FOR SEPTEMBER 6, 2019 KICKBALL TOURNAMENT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis.
