For comparison of how steep grades are the following examples are provided. The <br />percentage listed is the maximum grade on the street <br />Morrison Street between Rose Lane and Demont Avenue —15% <br />Rose Lane just west of McMenemy Street — 10% <br />Noel Drive west of Gervais Creek — 9.6% <br />Eli Road just east of Centerville Road — 9% <br />Dianna Lane (east/west portion) — 4% <br />Dianna Lane (north/south portion, south of island raingarden) — 9.5% <br />Requested Council Input <br />This memo and the sidewalk exhibit have been provided to the Parks Director for review <br />and comment. He had previously indicated that the Historical Society had interest in the <br />garden area so their input may also need to be considered. <br />We are requesting Council input on if the trail should be extended to the Gervais Mill <br />Park parking lot or to the existing trail on the west side of the creek.
