BIDS <br />FOR <br />PW -PARKS <br />MAINTENANCE <br />PROJECT <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JULY 16, 2014 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 16th day of <br />July, 2014 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Acting Mayor Rick Montour called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. and <br />the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />ABSENT: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Acting Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Michael McGraw <br />Mayor Mr. <br />Council Member Ms. <br />City Administrator <br />Construction Mgr. <br />Construction Mgr. <br />City Clerk <br />Mr. <br />Mr. <br />Mr. <br />Ms. <br />Bill Blesener <br />Shelly Boss <br />Joel R. Hanson <br />Dick Naughton <br />Troy Corbett <br />Kathy Glanzer <br />Troy Corbett, James Steele Construction, Construction Manager for the <br />Public Works -Parks Maintenance Facility project, presented and reviewed <br />the bid tabulations for the major components of the project. Those major <br />components include the following: <br />Earth Work, Utilities, Concrete Curb and Gutter; <br />Masonry and Concrete; <br />Precast Concrete Walls; <br />Steel; <br />Roofing; <br />Plumbing; <br />HVAC and Controls; <br />Electrical. <br />Corbett reported that bids were solicited for project components that were <br />expected to be over $100,000. Quotes will be obtained for the lesser <br />components of the project. Corbett indicated that Estero Electric <br />Company, bidding for the Electrical Component, should be disqualified as <br />this bidder did not submit the specified bid form, did not provide sufficient <br />bid security, and did not sign the bid submittal. <br />
