Project Details <br />- There are two public crossings that are under the jurisdiction of Ramsey County. (One in each <br />City). it is expected that an agreement will be needed between the City and County to address <br />construction and funding issues. <br />The Cities and CP Railroad will enter into a Railroad Force Account agreement for each crossings. <br />The signal agreement and construction process will take 12 to 18 months. <br />- All the facilities will be built within public right of way or railroad right of way. <br />The roadway improvements will be contracted out to a roadway contractor under the public bid <br />process, using typical State guidelines and rules. <br />Each City will work with MnDOT to prepare the appropriate GO Bond grant agreement that will <br />encompass all the work. <br />- Each City will provide MnDOT with a copy of each agreement for their approval. <br />Other Issues <br />Can MnDOT have a direct agreement with CP? <br />Can there be sharing of funds between the two Cities? <br />Is this an End Grant agreement or a Construction Grant agreement? <br />Are previous expenses for this projects reimbursable? <br />- Is there a need for a Use Agreement with CP? <br />Are engineering or legal fees reimbursable? <br />
